2 x 3-day drawing workshop by Sarah Simblet on Texel on May 26 to 28 for beginning draftsmen and on June 2 to 4 for advanced artists, artists and teachers.
Sarah Simblet is known for her books on drawing from perception: Anatomy for the Artist, Botany for the Artist, the new Sylva and the Drawing book. These books have been published in various translations, Sarah gives workshops all over the world.

What to expect?
Guidance in the art of drawing to perception, not fiddling and trying to capture precisely leaves on trees and thorns on brambles, but interpreting what you see so that you can grab it and represent it. We start both workshops by making a sketchbook, your size and good, acid-free, off-white paper. Different materials for drawing are available, techniques are explained.
